According to ESPN, the Hammers are hoping to solve their full-back issue by agreeing a deal with Inter Milan for Davide Santon.
It’s being reported that the former Newcastle defender has flown into England to have talks with Irons and to undergo a medical in London.
Slaven Bilic is poaching the defender from under the nose of Sunderland after he was linked with the Black Cats earlier on this summer, but the move eventually broke down between the player and the club.
If a move is finalised between Inter and West Ham, it is expected to be a loan with a view to a permanent deal worth £5m.
