Following West Ham’s 0-0 draw with Aston Villa last night, many fans have had their say on recent signing Pablo Fornals.
The Hammers could only manage a point away at Villa Park this week after they had to play a quarter of the game with just 10 men after Arthur Masuaku got sent off in the 67th minute.
Fornals came on off the bench for Andriy Yarmolenko in the 62nd minute but failed to have a huge impact on the match, though his side were having to do most of the defending after Masuaku got sent for an early bath.
With the Hammers forced to play mainly on the break, there was one chance for the Spaniard in the last minute, but he chose to look for the pass to Sebastien Haller rather than take the shot on.
Fornals, just 23, joined the club for a reported £24m in the summer, per BBC Sport.
There was a mixed response from West Ham fans, with many saying that he looked promising when he came on, while others said he looked ‘weak’ and that he didn’t have a good performance.

Don’t get all the Fornals hate. Made one bad mistake by trying to be too clever. The other time he got played through he played a clever ball out wide to Noble who wasted a very good opportunity. He was also playing out of position for a team with 10 men.
