West Ham United: Fans react to David Sullivan’s comments about the transfer window

West Ham United have not had the greatest start to the Premier League season as they have lost both their games to Newcastle United and Arsenal.
The Irons’ only signing this transfer window has been Tomas Soucek, who was on loan at the club last season and therefore doesn’t feel like a a new signing. Combined with the sale of young academy prospect Grady Diangana to West Bromwich Albion, this has seen owners David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady receive fierce criticism from many supporters of the club.
The criticism has not died down and the latest comments from Sullivan has further antagonised plenty fans as he said on talkSPORT, via Sam Inkersole: “I cannot say for sure we’re going to sign anybody. As each day passes I get more depressed.”
The frustration of the London Stadium faithful is understandable as a failure to adequately strengthen a squad which finished 16th in the Premier League last season could make it a slog to try and stay in the division, a cause which has not been helped with two opening defeats.
Here is what these Hammers fans said following the comments from Sullivan:

When the owners, who makes millions of pounds in interest every year off the club he supposedly loves, says he’s feeling depressed, then we really are in trouble.
Unless, of course, he’s lying.
