West Ham United: talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan reacts as GSB plot ‘bizarre’ David Moyes new deal - West Ham News

Speaking to talkSPORT, regular pundit and former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has reacted to GSB’s latest move as they attempt to offer manager David Moyes a new deal – with a club insider breaking the news to Sky Sports.

Moyes, who has enjoyed a stellar start to this season for the Hammers, guiding his side to a comfortable fifth in the Premier League table, appears to have surpassed all expectations so far.

Should West Ham offer Moyes a new deal?

Jordan reacts to Moyes contract offer

Indeed, the Scotsman has helped West Ham to pick up vital results against the likes of Tottenham and Man City and his team are currently enjoying a three-game winning streak as they prepare to face Man United on Saturday.

Reacting to this GSB development that they are offering him a new deal, a scenario labelled ‘bizarre‘ by talkSPORT presenter Jim White, Jordan claimed, if the boss can repeat his success at Everton:

“West Ham fans should be biting David Gold and Sullivan’s arm off at the wrist to get them to sign Moyes for a longer period of time.”

Transfer Tavern take

Given their start to the campaign under Moyes and just how well he has surprised critics with West Ham’s incredible run of form, Jordan could well be right that supporters should wish to extend his deal.

Even though some may argue that it is too soon, especially after just 10 games, if he can go on to repeat his Everton success, it could be a worthy investment by GSB as the club are in desperate need of some stability.
