It’s been a poor season for Felipe Anderson, and Saturday proved to be another frustrating game for the 26-year-old attacker.

The Brazilian winger was subbed off 56 minutes into West Ham’s eventual 3-0 loss against Burnley (per BBC Sport), meaning Anderson, who was once the club’s record signing (per BBC Sport), has now scored just once in his past 30 appearances for the east London club (per Transfermarkt).
And Anderson’s substitution was not shrugged off by some supporters, who took to social media to criticise the former Lazio star for his lacklustre performance at Turf Moor and his overall displays in recent months.
Here’s what some West Ham fans had to say on Twitter about Anderson’s latest flat performance, with one Twitter user claiming he would rather have 38-year-old George McCartney at left wing in this moment of time.
Sell him

I’d honestly rather have George McCartney at LW than Felipe Anderson

We’re on our way to being in a relegation dogfight and people didn’t want to recall Diangana…
Deary me.

Mind blowing that is, was happy to see him subbed off, we are in free fall thanks to his and Yarmo drop in form – well, I guess mainly due to Fabs injury but still

No wins in 7
We have no plan B
Our manager changes the back four every week and also has no clue of his best XI
Felipe Anderson looks like Matt Jarvis

West Ham fans, what has happened to Anderson? Let us know!
