After Roberto’s own-goal against Burnley on Saturday (per BBC Sport), it is easy to understand why some West Ham fans want the Spanish ‘keeper out of the club.

Although, director of football Mario Husillos is still ‘adamant’ that Roberto will be a success at the club.

The summer signing has been an easy target for West Ham fans on social media after Roberto was forced into the first-team to cover for the injured Lukasz Fabianski. Yet despite his critics, Roberto was awarded the highest WhoScored rating out any West Ham player against Burnley with a 6.8.
And now according to the Mirror, Roberto could be out the exit door just a few months after signing for West Ham, with the report claiming that the keeper might be sold in January – the 33-year-old joined the club on a free transfer (per West Ham’s official website).
And supporters on social media were seemingly delighted with the news that Roberto could be moved on as soon as the winter transfer window, the same time that Fabianski will reportedly be back from injury (per Football London).
