West Ham United fans are delighted by the news that Chelsea are set to give up on signing Declan Rice and will move for cheaper alternatives in January instead.
22-year-old Rice has developed into one of West Ham’s most important players, while he has also become one of the first names on Gareth Southgate’s England team-sheet.
That has attracted plenty of attention from Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, where Rice spent part of his youth career.
That interest from Chelsea could have convinced him to make a return to the Blues. However, according to Football.london, the Stamford Bridge outfit are to stop their pursuit of the midfielder and will instead look at cheaper players during the January transfer window.
Would you take £90m for Rice?
