West Ham United fans are far from happy after reliable club insider ExWHUemployee revealed that the Hammers hierarchy are meeting this week to decide which centre-back and midfield transfer targets to move for.

After a fantastic previous campaign that saw the Irons finish sixth in the Premier League table and therefore qualify for the Europa League, this summer transfer window has been disappointing for West Ham supporters.

The new campaign is just weeks away, yet the Hammers have not made a marquee signing, something they will surely need to do if they want to be competitive in Europe next term.

Worryingly, as ExWHUemployee has now revealed, GSB and co are yet to decide on which targets to pursue, and will only meet up this week to decide on their top targets with David Moyes.

The news was shared on Twitter by @WestHam_Central, and it attracted plenty of attention from the supporters. They took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.

Let's see what the fans had to say below

"Can’t work out what’s worse - The fact we’re only having a transfer meeting this week or the fact we’re not looking for a striker"

"That is if they accept any of the bids we make - then we have to come to agreements with the players. So depressing how long this is taking"
