According to a report by The Athletic, Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham is ‘not interested’ in discussing an extension to his contract at Stamford Bridge – prompting many West Ham United fans to plead for a player who could be a ‘no brainer‘ for David Moyes and co after they failed to sign a forward in January.
Abraham, who has started 12 Premier League games this season, netting six goals in that time (WhoScored), is apparently dismissive at the prospect of extending his current deal at the west London club, and Green Street Hammers have explained why he would be a good signing for West Ham.
This has prompted many Irons to plead for his capture on social media, with some of those supporters claiming he would be a ‘great signing’ and could fit Moyes perfectly.
Playing more regularly for the Blues last season, Abraham notched a noteworthy 15 goals in 25 league starts, and many Irons believe he could be a brilliant capture for West Ham – Michail Antonio is currently their only recognised striker in the first-team.
