According to an update by Spanish outlet Sport, via Sport Witness, Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz and his future in the capital looks ‘written’ – with the Galacticos now certain he is not what they need and a move away in January looks more likely than ever.
This report claims that West Ham United are ‘behind’ the attacker and interested in a potential January swoop – with manager David Moyes now closer to landing the striker once hailed as a ‘great coup‘, given he seems to have no future at Madrid.

Diaz closer to West Ham?
Indeed, Sport understand that Diaz looks set to leave Madrid, either on loan or permanently, in the winter window as claims surface over West Ham being offered the striker with a ‘right of redemption’.
After this latest update, the Hammers could now be closer to securing Diaz as his future at Madrid looks non-existent – news that could excite supporters given their need for more fire power up front.
Sebastien Haller has been heavily relied upon as the Irons’ go-to man in Michail Antonio’s absence, with the polarising ace bagging a sumptuous winner away to Sheffield United during the Hammers’ last outing.
