Many West Ham United fans were not impressed to witness Sebastien Haller playing well for his new club and used it as an opportunity to slam their club’s owners once again.
The 26-year-old left the London Stadium last month to join Ajax for £20.25m, after spending just 18 months with the Hammers and he scored twice as the Amsterdam giants toppled rivals PSV Eindhoven 2-1 in the Dutch KNVB Cup.

Haller is West Ham’s all-time record transfer and only scored 14 goals from 53 appearances, in what turned out to be an underwhelming period of his career.
Surprisingly, manager David Moyes opted not to dip into the transfer market for another striker, leaving just Michail Antonio as the club’s only out-and-out centre-forward available for selection.

Because of this, the supporters were incensed with the decision not to replace the Ivorian frontman and were quick to make their feelings clear towards the club’s owners David Gold, David Sullivan and Karen Brady.
