According to a report by Spanish publication Fichajes, West Ham United are interested in signing Valencia attacker Goncalo Guedes – with Hammers fans flocking to social media as this ‘interesting’ transfer claim emerges.
Guedes is attracting the interest of AS Monaco and Napoli as well as the Irons, and this report claims that the La Liga side would demand around €15 million (£13 million) for his services.
West Ham Central shared the news on Twitter, prompting plenty of supporters to have their say as the majority seem excited over the prospect of snapping up Guedes for what could be a meagre fee.
Starting 15 La Liga matches for Valencia this season, scoring one goal and assisting a teammate, the 24-year-old can also play as a striker on occasion (WhoScored).
Taking to social media to give their opinion, theses Irons supporters believe this move could be ‘incredible’ – with one fan even believing that the mooted price tag is a ‘robbery’.
