West Ham United fans have been left frustrated by the 2-1 loss against Crystal Palace at London Stadium on Saturday.

The Hammers had more shots and possession than their fellow Londoners on the day, as per WhoScored, yet two VAR decisions meant Palace walked away with the three points.
Perhaps in an effort to cheer the club’s fans up, West Ham’s official Twitter account has posted a video of a past win against Tottenham Hotspur:
“Simply sensational!”

However, many fans were not impressed with this strategy from the club admin, feeling that they were using Ravel Morrison’s brilliance at White Hart Lane as a distraction from the loss on Saturday.
Some fans have stated they feel as though they are being taken for a fool, while others have simply let the club know their attempt at bringing up the mood hasn’t worked.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the video, including posts from frustrated West Ham fans, can be seen below:
Do you have these tweets saved up for when we lose?

Well yesterday was anything but sensational. I think you ought to revise your tweeting schedule, this type of thing isn’t cool

Whoever manages this account should lose his job.

We can all see what you’re doing. Every time we lose you reel out some goal from the past to try and make us forget the defeat. Do you think we’re stupid? Stop it, it doesn’t work
