The West Ham fans over by the bar have gathered around a smartphone to read a report by The Daily Star via Tribal Football which claims Slaven Bilic is ready to end Alex Song’s time at the club.
Rumours suggest that Hammers manager Bilic is not keen to keep Song at the club ahead of their move to the Olympic Stadium and will instead allow him to return to Barcelona when his loan finishes at the end of the season.
The former Arsenal star is currently in his second year at West Ham but has struggled to impress many of the fans here in the Tavern.
Having made just 15 appearances in all competitions this term, Song has failed to score or assist a single goal.
The 28-year old will certainly find it difficult to displace the likes of Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic at the Nou Camp, with our landlord thinking that the Cameroon midfielder could look for a move elsewhere.
