‘What a big player’, ‘Different gravy’ – Rangers fans praise former outcast on Twitter for starring role

After beating bitter rivals Aberdeen twice in a week, the Rangers fans here in the Transfer Tavern are absolutely delighted with how things have gone of late.

Indeed, while the club may still be searching for a new manager, the punters propping up our bar are ready to put that to one side for the time being and simply enjoy beating the Dons twice in quick succession. With that in mind, one of the men to have seriously impressed our local Light Blues is Josh Windass, whose name is being chanted around the bar.

Deployed in a central attacking position, the 23-year-old tore Aberdeen apart at Pittodrie and managed to grab the second goal in a 1-2 away win in the Granite City, with caretaker boss Graeme Murty praising the former Accrington man.

With that in mind, here’s a look at how Rangers fans on Twitter praised Windass for his recent exploits.
