Celtic are flying at the top of the Scottish Premier League and our landlord cannot see anyone catching them.
The Bhoys are 22 points clear at the top of the table and the Celtic fan in the Transfer Tavern have plenty to shout about, especially when they sit 33 points ahead of arch rivals, Rangers.
Furthermore, Brendan Rodgers is proving to be a shrewd appointment to the manager post at Celtic Park from the club’s higher powers and our landlord feels that given another transfer window, the Northern Irishman can really work wonders with his squad.
But whilst saying that, our resident Hoops in the Transfer Tavern are also wary that many a player would have impressed during this stellar season for their club and there is a case that some players are simply indefensible towards the future of the squad.
It is a topic that sure has fired up some conversation in the Tavern and as Celtic have a history of selling their players on when English Premier League clubs come knocking, can Rodgers resist the temptation to cash in and sell his key players?
Our landlord thinks he should and highlights here TWO players that the Hoops simply cannot afford to sell this summer…
Kieran Tierney

With Manchester United apparently monitoring the situation of the young Celtic left back, can Brendan Rodgers afford to let the youngster leave if Celtic are to progress as a club?
Our landlord simply believes they can’t and knows his resident Celtic punters will be fuming to see one their own let go, especially for the £10m fee that is being reported by the Mail.
Moussa Dembele

Not much else can be said about Dembele, the Frenchman has been in sensational form this season and our resident Bhoys know that their club need the Frenchman to stay and develop if they are to become feared in Europe once more.
Our landlord feels boss, Rodgers must do everything to keep his main striker but feels that surely a big offer will be too much for the club to resist.
