Many Leeds United fans have been reacting to quotes from owner Andrea Radrizzani, who has been discussing potential investment coming into the club.
Quotes from the Italian were relayed by TEAMtalk journalist James Marshment which suggested that Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), a company which already owns Paris Saint Germain, could buy into the Elland Road outfit.
However, Radrizzani also admitted that nothing would happen until the club are in the Premier League.
“What is true is that we [PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi] have a great relationship on a personal level,” said Radrizzani. “There’s a desire to do something together. We’ll evaluate this when we are in the Premier League.”
The Whites are currently in pole position to return to the English top-flight, sitting top of the Championship table after 37 games and seven points ahead of third-placed Fulham (BBC Sport).
Whilst QSI are an extremely wealthy company who have already transformed PSG, allowing them to buy the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, the reaction to these quotes from Leeds fans has been varied. Whilst some would love to see them come on board, others are sceptical about the potential investment.
