The Hammers fans are in the Transfer Tavern and although they are happy with their transfers in, they know players still need to leave.
West Ham will be hoping for a better season in comparison to their 2016/17 campaign which saw them finish in 11th place following on from seventh the previous year.
Given the fact that clubs like Bournemouth and Southampton are very quickly climbing up the Premier League ladder and Leicester won the whole thing only a few years ago, questions need to be asked of the London club.
As things go, Slaven Bilic has had a decent transfer window bringing in the likes of Marko Arnautovic from Stoke and Javier Hernandez from West Ham.
Despite good transfers in, there are a few players who could do with leaving the club.
Not necessarily on a permanent basis right now but either to get more game time to be used next season or to potentially set up a permanent move next year.
On that note, here are two West Ham players who should spend next season on loan in the Championship and why.
Diafra Sakho
Ever since his arrival at West Ham three years ago, Diafra Sakho has suffered countless injuries that have reduced him to only 54 appearances for the Hammers in three years.
With rumours circulating that he may be back at full fitness in time for the start of the new season or just after it, he may benefit from getting some first team football in the Championship.
Similar to what Arsenal did with Jack Wilshere, there wasn’t a place in the side for an injury prone player so he went out and proved himself elsewhere.
Arthur Masuaku
Arthur Masuaku has been a huge flop at West Ham since his arrival from Olympiacos in August of last year.
Having only been a Hammer for one season though it seems harsh to completely freeze him out of the squad just yet, especially considering West Ham’s lack of options as back up left back.
A loan move to the Championship would still challenge the French defender who could hopefully iron out his error-prone ways and make a return to Slaven Bilic’s good books.
