Chelsea punters in the Transfer Tavern are mocking their Manchester United counterparts, following news Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been issued a three-match suspension by the FA.

The ban comes after a controversial set of events during the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday, in which the Swedish striker responded to an apparent stamp from Cherries defender Tyrone Mings by elbowing him, with some serious force, in the side of the head.
Neither players were seriously harmed but as the incident was missed by the referee, the FA have decided to take retrospective action, issuing a three-match ban which Ibrahimovic has now accepted.
And his absence could prove immensely damaging for United in the coming weeks. He’s their top goalscorer across all competitions this term, netting 26 times already, but will now miss a vital FA Cup quarter-final with Chelsea, alongside Premier League fixtures against Middlesbrough and West Brom.
Needless to say, Chelsea fans are pretty chuffed with the news. Coupled with home advantage, the Blues are surely the favourites for the FA Cup tie next Monday. Chelsea supporters on Twitter and in the Transfer Tavern are having an absolute field day…
