Many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have lauded their captain Conor Coady after former Liverpool central defender now Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher’s analysis of their man.
The pair discussed their time together with the Reds, with Coady revealing why he felt that he had to leave Anfield. They also talked about the 27-year old’s career transformation after joining up with Nuno Espirito Santo at Molineux, how good Adama Traore is and his England ambitions, amongst other topics.
The centre-back has played 140 times in all competitions under Nuno, scoring one goal and providing two assists, according to Transfermarkt.
The comments were transcribed by Sky Sports and video footage of the conversation was posted by The Athletic journalist Tim Spiers on his official Twitter page.
One quote that stood out was Carragher describing Coady as ‘gold dust’, which sparked many WWFC supporters to show their love for the Englishman.
