Loads of Wolverhampton Wanderers are paying their respects to Pep Guardiola after the tragic news was revealed that his mother has died as a result the global pandemic.
The news from Manchester City’s official Twitter page was shared by the Midlands-based club, which prompted many supporters to send their condolences. Guardiola’s mother Dolors Sala Carrio died in Manresa, Barcelona at the age of 82.
The footballing world has been brought to a halt following the pandemic outbreak which has unfortunately now taken the life of Pep’s mother. The beautiful game in England has been suspended indefinitely, and will not return until it is safe to do so (Sky Sports).
This season has not been completely ruled out yet, and Wolves are among many teams that will be hoping that it will restart again at some point, especially as they are currently sitting in sixth place in the table and can still win the Europa League after progressing into the next round.
