Wolverhampton Wanderers fans were reacting negatively after a report linked the club with a move for Real Madrid ace James Rodriguez.
According to El Des Marque, the Midlands outfit have asked Jorge Mendes to help broker a deal with the La Liga outfit, who are demanding around €80m (roughly £69.6m) for the Colombian. The report also claimed that the side have asked the super-agent to help get the price significantly reduced.
Rodriguez’s season has been hampered by injury problems with the Colombia international having suffered ligament and hip issues. This has seen him turn out just 13 times across all competitions for Los Blancos, scoring just one goal and getting a further two assists (via Transfermarkt). When compared to Nuno Espirito Santo’s men, the 28-year-old would rank second for the number of key passes played per league game, as per WhoScored.

With a year left on his contract the price would surely be 20-30mil max
