Many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have reacted to some ‘clever‘ play in a throwback clip posted on the Midlands club’s official Twitter page.
The footage showed a well-worked free-kick routine that bamboozled the Sheffield Wednesday wall at Molineux back on 13th August 2000, to which was captioned as mesmerising.
The deceptive feint and lay-off was finished by Temuri Ketsbaia, who smashed the ball into the top corner, which left the keeper with no chance.
The former Georgian international represented his native country an impressive 52 times at senior international level, scoring 17 goals, according to Transfermarkt. He has also played for Newcastle United in England, as well as AEK Athens and Dinamo Tbilisi. He is currently manager of Anorthosis Famagusta, for whom he has also played for. In 220 overall club appearances across all competitions, the ex-winger scored 43 goals and made two assists.
