Many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have reacted to an update from Tim Spiers after he shared his article for The Athletic on his official Twitter page.
The report was written in January, which stated that the Midlands club were considering adding another temporary stand, but Spiers has now confirmed that a planning application has been submitted for a 500-seat one that will be placed in between the South Bank and Steve Bull stands. A new video wall would be placed behind it, similar to the Graham Hughes stand.
This development has caught the eye of several Wanderers supporters, including one fan who insists he has always called one of the stands after ‘Stevie’ Corica. The Australian played for WWFC between 1996 and 1999, where he made 88 appearances in all competitions in the first team. The 47-year old has also moved to Leicester City and Walsall in English football, as well as migrating to Japan and his native country, where he has also managed, according to Transfermarkt.
