Many Wolves fans were impressed with defender Romain Saiss during his side’s FA Cup tie against Southampton on Thursday evening.
The 30-year-old lined up for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side at the heart of a makeshift back three, including Max Kilman and Leander Dendoncker.

Saiss was not afraid to get stuck in, and made a crucial block from Danny Ings before the 10-minute mark to stop the Englishman from testing John Ruddy in between the sticks.
The Morocco international appeared to be assertive and in control in and around the hosts’ 18-yard box, dominating in the air and could leave Nuno thinking about playing him against in the second part of their Saints’ double-header.
