Wolves fans rejoiced as their club unveiled the signing of left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri from the French side Angers SCO.
The France U21 international completed his move across the English channel into the West Midlands on a season-long loan with an option to make the switch permanent.
The club revealed Ait-Nouri on Sunday evening, hours after his new side’s 1-0 victory against Fulham at the Molineux. Manager Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed after the final whistle that Ruben Vinagre would be leaving the club to make way for the youngster.
Ait-Nouri arrives at Wolves having provided four assists from 23 appearances for Angers, which has helped him progress up three levels of the France youth programme, as per TransferMarkt.
