Plenty of Wolves fans rushed to social media after Rayan Ait-Nouri scored his first goal for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side during their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.
The 19-year-old made his debut for the West Midlands outfit on Friday night and got off to the sort of start that was likely better than he could have dreamt it.
Ait-Nouri, who is a France U-21 international, got himself on the end of a Daniel Podence cross that was originally meant for Pedro Neto. The determined young left-back steamed towards the penalty area and hit a first-time shot beyond the reach of Vicente Guaita to give the hosts an early lead after 18 minutes (via Sky Sports).
The Frenchman swapped his homeland club of Angers SCO for Wolves on a season-long loan. While simultaneously, fellow full-back Ruben Vinagre joined Olympiakos for a year with the option to buy (via the club’s official website).
Will Rayan Ait-Nouri be a success at Wolves?

More positivity in our play that 45 minutes than the rest of our games combined. Very, very good to see. Just getting numbers in the box.
And I’m a bit in love with Ait Nouri.
