Wolves: Fans gush over Vitinha’s strike against Chorley

Many Wolves fans gushed over Vitinha’s strike during his side’s FA Cup tie against Chorley on Friday evening.

The 20-year-old opened the scoring for the visitors on the night. With plenty of space to run into, Vitinha strolled into the opponents’ half and hit a sweet right-footed strike past the helpless Matthew Urwin – swerving and dipping from 35 yards out into the top corner.

Vitinha has been a bit-part player for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side this season, having started just twice in the Premier League and making eight appearances as a substitute (Whoscored).

But Friday’s game at The Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium was the perfect opportunity to show his manager why he deserves a run in the first-team, which he did perfectly.

Supporters could not believe what they saw as they reacted to Tim Spiers’ post on Twitter, with some suggesting they have another version of Ruben Neves on their hands.
