Unsurprisingly, the Wolves fans couldn’t agree more with Alex Dicken – a reporter for Birmingham Live – and even stated he was worth much more.
The French centre-half has been linked to big Premier League clubs over the past couple of weeks, including both Arsenal and Tottenham, who are allegedly looking to bolster their defensive positions (Birmingham Live). The previous reports suggest that a bid of £25m could be made for his services, though Alex Dicken thinks he should go for far more than that, saying that the fee quoted would have “prompted a few sniggers” across the Wolves fanbase.
According to Transfermarkt, the man signed from Porto will only have one year remaining on his deal after this season, so that has the chance of reducing his fee.
Many Wolves fans responded to the tweet with their own opinions – and some think he is worth double the £25m valuation.

As it stands he could sign a pre-contract agreement in 15 months’ time and we’d get nothing. 20+ years since Bosman and still so many people think we’ll get a massive fee just because he’s good. Need to act quickly or someone could get a bargain and we’ll be without him.
