Wolves moved up to eighth in the Premier League with victory over rivals Aston Villa at Molineux.
Goals from Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez were enough to secure the result, despite a late consolation goal from Trezeguet for the visitors.
It was Adama Traore who took a lot of the plaudits though with the Birmingham Mail crowning him a ‘special player’ for his performance.
The Spaniard struggled to adapt to life in the Midlands last term but has forced his way into the team and set up the winning goal on Sunday.
It was an important three points for Nuno’s men, who have become the Premier League’s draw specialists this season.
Their seven stalemates are two more than any other team, with the win over Dean Smith’s Villa just their third of the league campaign thus far.
Adjusting to the added fixtures in the Europa League was seemingly a struggle given the early season results but they’ve adapted well of late and have tasted defeat just once in their last 12 games in all competitions.
The Wolves fans loved the video posted by the club’s account of the winning moment, here’s how some of them reacted to it:
