Wolves are ending the January window in style by announcing the signing of Daniel Podence from Olympiacos for £17.64 million. The Portuguese will be added to an already thrilling list of exciting talent, which will give them the depth to play the incredible number of fixtures they face this term.
They’ve already played 34 games across all four competitions, so the club will be hoping this 24-year-old can bring his form to Molineux and help out fellow countryman Diogo Jota. He’s played 15 times in the league so far this season and has managed to net three times, earning him a WhoScored rating of 6.85/10.
The club announced that Podence had signed a four-and-a-half-year deal on Thursday morning with a dramatic video, and fans got excited. Many replied to show how pleased they were that he’d signed for their team.
