Wolverhampton Wanderers have been given the opportunity to sign Brazilian star Hulk, according to reports.
Hulk to Molineux?
The 34-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving the Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG, having scored 76 goals in 145 appearances for the club (TransferMarkt).
After he was one of the highest-paid players in China, his wage demands may be a cause for concern regarding any club that wants him. During his career, Hulk has scored 303 goals and has been described as “world-class” by former Austria Vienna head coach Nenad Bjelica during his time at Zenit St Petersburg (cited by The World Game).

But according to Football Insider, Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has been informed that Hulk would be interested in a move to the Premier League – now that his Asian footballing adventure has come to an end.
This news comes after Wolves’ star striker Raul Jimenez underwent surgery after fracturing his skull during his side’s 2-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium last month.
Transfer Tavern Verdict
Bringing in Hulk would be a great signing for Wolves but it would certainly come at a cost.
The 48-cap Brazil international was earning £292k-a-week at Shanghai (via Inside Sport). With Wolves’ top earner being on just a mere £100k-a-week in comparison (Spotrac), it would smash the West Midlands outfit’s wage structure to offer him anywhere close to that amount.
If this is a risk that Nuno is willing to take, then he should not waste any time in bringing Hulk to Molineux.
