Some Wolves fans have been criticising the performance of Francisco Trincao in their 2-0 home loss to Brentford in the Premier League at Saturday lunchtime.

It was a frustrating day for the Midlands club as two goals in the first half from Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbuemo ultimately sunk them in the end, despite the Bees having Shandon Baptiste sent off just shy of the hour mark for a second yellow card.

It was a very frustrating day for Trincao, who lost four of his duels and also failed to record a single shot on target or accurate cross, while also losing possession of the ball on 10 different occasions in the match, the joint-fifth most of any of his teammates (Sofascore).

Of course, it is early days in his Wolves career, but the Portugal international will hope to do better over the next set of fixtures.
