Many Wolves fans have been left to fume as an update has emerged on Fosun and their involvement in Nuno Espirito Santo leaving the Midlands club.
As per the Daily Telegraph, it is understood that the Chinese ownership initiated the end of his reign and moved to take action after a disappointing season.
Is Nuno the greatest manager Wolves have ever had?
It is understood that Fosun thought that his exit was the way forward after months of tension behind the scenes.
Jeff Shi started talks with Nuno over his future earlier this week before the announcement was made, shortly after the players were given the news at their training ground.
Fosun have been frustrated by the poor displays and results, and there have also been disagreements over the transfer policy and Nuno’s communication.
Effectively, it seems as if Fosun forced Nuno out of Molineux, which has come as a big shock to several WWFC supporters, given the success that the Portuguese manager has had prior to this campaign.
Wolves fans on Fosun update
These Wanderers fumed as the update was shared on Twitter, with one even going as far as to call it ‘shocking’:
“If true…that’s shocking!! Same lack of loyalty Leicester showed after winning the league. Best wishes Nuno. Many of us have not lost any hope in you and wish greatly to remain loyal to such a legend of Wolves in his lifetime.”
“Jeff better be wary of what he’s just done”
“I hope this Bond villain has an ace up his sleeve!!”
“IF this is true, we riot”
“Wow. Horrible to see this if it’s true! Really hope it isn’t…”
