Many Wolves fans have been giving their thoughts as news emerged about Patrick Cutrone.
As per The Express & Star, the 23-year-old has returned to the Midlands for pre-season training and hopes to have his future sorted out soon.
Would you cut your losses on Cutrone?
Cutrone has not had the best of times at Molineux, scoring a mere three goals in 28 games in all competitions across the last two seasons (Transfermarkt), and he has been shipped out on loan to both Fiorentina and Valencia.
However, given the nasty head injury that Raul Jimenez picked up last November, which consequently ruled him out for the remainder of the season, new manager Bruno Lage may want to give the Italian a chance to impress, potentially as a backup striker to the Mexico international.
Wolves fans on Cutrone news
These Wolves supporters seemed split over whether to just sell Cutrone altogether or give the 23-year-old another chance as the news was shared on Twitter:
“Keep him @Wolves”
“Bruno may be able to get a tune out of him…there was no doubting his effort tbf.”
“Hope Lage plays him and convinces him to stay”
“Move him out as soon as possible, not good enough”
“Definitely a striker that benefits playing in a 2 but tbh I just don’t rate him.”
“Get out!! Get out!! Get out!!”
