Many Wolves fans have been left lauding the performance of Rafa Mir as Spain beat Ivory Coast 5-2 at the Olympic games in Tokyo.

As per Sky Sports, the striker was substituted on and scored a late equaliser to force extra-time against the Ivorians, and then went on to score two more to complete a very impressive hat-trick.

Mir has reportedly rejected a new deal at the Midlands club, and as such a number of teams around Europe are interested in his signature before the summer transfer window shuts.

However, his recent display has shown what he is capable of, and as such several members of the Molineux faithful applauded the 24-year-old and have called for him to stay.
