Many Wolves fans have been to left to rave as an injury update emerged on Raul Jimenez.

As per the official website of the Molineux faithful, club doctor Matt Perry has confirmed that the Mexico international will be able to return to playing after suffering a nasty head injury back in November in the 2-1 away win at Arsenal.

Jimenez has also been given the all clear to start heading and aerial duels in training, which is a very promising sign ahead of the new season.

The striker has been such a key player for the Midlands club over the course of the last three seasons, scoring no fewer than 47 goals in 110 games in total across all competitions (Transfermarkt), and his potency in front of goal has been a big miss.

Nonetheless, there was a chance that he may not be able to play football again, and several WWFC supporters are absolutely delighted that he should be able to return next campaign.
