Among the names that have been listed are former Porto and Fenerbahce manager Vitor Pereira, highly-respected boss Rui Faria, who is best known for being Jose Mourinho’s long-serving assistant, and ex-Benfica coach Bruno Lage.

All three men, who are currently out of the job at the moment, have connections with super-agent Jorge Mendes, who himself has a strong connection with the Molineux outfit.

However, these names have not really jumped out on paper to several WWFC supporters, as they feel that they would not be able to do a better job than Nuno, who is set to keep them in the Premier League for a third straight season after two seventh-placed finishes.
