In an attempt to strengthen their survival chances, Wolves have bid £3m for Hull’s Irish winger Stephen Hunt.Hull are desperate to slash their wage bill so could be open to offers for the midfielder who has scored 5 times in 20 appearances for the Tigers this season.
Mick McCarthy feels Hunt would go some way to shoring up his team but if he is unable to bring Hunt in, will look to the cheaper option of Kris Commons who he could snap up for £750,000.
