Lots of Wolves fans have been left to flock to a transfer update on Conor Coady.

As per Football Insider, former Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo would like to sign the England international for Tottenham Hotspur if he becomes their new boss.

A source from Spurs has told the news outlet that Coady has been mentioned as a potential target during discussions with Nuno.

While he is the club captain, and has done very well in being called up to Gareth Southgate's England squad for Euro 2020, several members of the Molineux faithful were not too impressed by some of his displays in the 2020/21 season.

Comparing his stats in the Premier League to those of his fellow teammates, the central defender averaged fewer tackles and interceptions per game than Willy Boly, Romain Saiss and Max Kilman (Whoscored), and considering the fact that he is English and at a good age at 28, Bruno Lage's team could demand a hefty transfer fee.
