Many Wolves fans have been flocking to a transfer update on Rui Patricio as Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness) reported of 'enquiries' being made for the goalkeeper.

As per the news outlet, those enquiries have come from AS Roma in what now seems to be a story developing by the day.

Patricio's current deal at Molineux expires in 2022 and agent Jorge Mendes could well be key to getting any potential transfer between the two clubs over the line.

It would be silly for the Midlands club to let their first-choice goalkeeper leave without a suitable replacement lined up, and some Wolves supporters may argue that that position should not be the priority for Nuno Espirito Santo going into the summer transfer window.
