Many Wolves fans have been left to buzz as a transfer update emerged on Yerson Mosquera.

As per the official website of the Midlands club, the central defender is their first signing of the summer window, subject to a medical and work permit.

He will sign on a deal for five years, and as technical director Scott Sellars has claimed, had 'a lot of interest' from other teams across Europe.

Sellars also described Mosquera as a player who is 'very athletic, very aggressive, very competitive' and 'has a great attitude to defending'.

These are certainly qualities that should assure that the Colombian will be able to cope with both the physical and aerial demands of the Premier League, and at just 20 years of age, he clearly has a lot of potential that can be fulfilled while at Molineux.
