Our Rangers fans here in the Transfer Tavern are happy with the start to their season after recording a good 2-1 win away at Motherwell yesterday afternoon.
The men from Ibrox go into this campaign knowing that they will have to be near perfect to try and stop Celtic winning another title this year and so, after seeing the Bhoys beating Hearts earlier on, a win was an early must.
Three points, then, was what the Gers achieved and now they’ll be eager to really kick on but one man who appears set to play no part in the rest of the campaign for them is Martyn Waghorn.
Indeed, the Ibrox side has agreed a deal with Ipswich to let the forward go and so it seems as though the striker will be swapping Glasgow for Suffolk before too long.
