Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a fine campaign this season and the fans in the Transfer Tavern are discussing potential business this summer.
Eyebrows were raised at the bar today when the fans read reports from the Mirror which say the club are interested in Bayern Munich’s Douglas Costa, who’s linked with a £30m exit from the Allianz Arena after a lack of opportunities this term.
The Brazilian has been consistently overlooked by Carlo Ancelotti since the Italian took charge of the Bavarian giants last summer, and he could be a big mover at the end of the season, with a wealth of top sides likely to express interest.
Many Spurs fans are split on their opinions though, as some believe he’d be a tremendous addition to the side whilst others don’t think he’d earn regular opportunities at White Hart Lane – especially with Korean ace Son Heung-Min enjoying such exceptional form.
Our landlord believes he’d be a solid addition though that would boost Spurs’ depth, particularly for the Champions League, and states they’d be mad to pass up the chance to sign him.

I'm not convinced this guy would cut it in the Premier League. Zaha would be more suited to Spurs.
