Granit Xhaka sent the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern into a frenzy after his stunning goal against Hull City on the weekend. 

The suave Swiss has already become somewhat of a cult hero in North London amongst our drinkers, despite only arriving a matter of months ago.

Arsene Wenger has used the 23-year-old rather sparingly since splashing out a reported £35m to sign him over the course of the summer, leading to many Gunners propping up the bar wondering where he is.

For so long, the Emirates giants have lacked a true midfield enforcer and the former Borussia Monchengladbach certainly has the physical frame to act as one.

The fact he can also bag 30-yard screamers at the drop of a hat has also sent him into the hearts of the North London locals, who’ve since taken to Twitter to beg Arsene Wenger to play him more frequently.
