In recent times, Daniel Levy has been a subject of criticism as fans feel that the owner hasn’t allowed Pochettino to bring in a world class signing, with many people believing that is the one thing missing in this Spurs side.
After acquiring Davison Sanchez and Serge Aurier in defensive positions in the summer, fans of the London based club have been left pondering as to why they fail to see a well known attacking outlet arrive on Hotspur Way.
Indeed, the fans are not wanting a repeat of Vicent Janssen, so it becomes of great importance that the Premier League title chasers can bolster their ranks with the signing of a firing striker as January fast approaches.
Having Harry Kane as the only recognized striker leaves liability for a backup option should the England International succumb to any form of injury. Though Fernando Llorente was supposed to be that man, the World Cup winner really isn’t convincing right now.
As strength in depth for any ambitious Premier League side is a must in order to become successful, it becomes imperative that Tottenham continue to strengthen.
After the start that Spurs have made this season having played 7 games and accumulating 14 points, sitting in 3rd position 5 points off top spot, the London based club really need to start hitting the ground running as the teams at the summit don’t look like stopping.
So, for a team that has a Wembley superstition hanging above their head, it really does become of great importance that Pochettino can work with the strongest squad possible if he and the Tottenham fans are going to be satisfied come the end of the season.

Andre Gomes
The Portuguese international, who last season moved to Barcelona from rival side Valencia after impressing for the club, has struggled at the Camp Nou.
So far in Cataluna, the midfield maestro hasn’t really found his feet as he floats in and out of the starting line up, considering the strength in depth available to the La Liga giants.
Knowing the stature and talent of this bloke, this man could thrive under Pochettino, in what would be a very good signing for the club.
Tottenham enjoy a style of play that sees 4 central based players take their stance both in deeper and attacking positions.
This man would suit Spurs massively, as he offers that diverse range of both defensive and attacking qualities with marauding runs forward and darting runs back to offer stability going both ways.
With main man Dele Alli currently off form, this midfield ace would be the perfect fit to step up out of this mans shadow.
Timo Werner
The 21-year-old German international plays his football for rising Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, one of the most exciting teams on the continent.
Werner really started to impress last season as he helped the German side climb to second place and claim a first Champions League spot for the club. On his way to scoring 27 goals in 36 games for the club, which is a terrific return, he surely attracted the interest of European powerhouses.
As well as notching 6 goals in 8 games for the German national side, this starlet really does look like the real deal.
For a team that have scored 14 goals in 7 games already this season, Spurs can only be boosted if they can manage to capture this man. Due to the lack of support and back up for hotshot Harry Kane, the German International is becoming of great value to the English side.
The prolific striker comes with a bag full of tricks of the trade, offering electrifying pace to scare any defender, terrific dribbling ability and as someone who can find the back of the net with ease, this man really is worth all the fuss.
