It is an exciting time to be a Manchester United fan.
Jose Mourinho’s side are heading into the 2017/18 season as the holders of the Europa league and one of the favourites to lift the Premier League trophy come the end of the season.
A hugely successful transfer window has brought in the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic to Old Trafford and they are showing their quality.
New signings, new tactics and more time with their manager has proven to do a world of good for easily the best United side since Fergie’s departure.
Whilst the club doesn’t need to bring in many more new faces, there are a few who they could loan out to keep them fit or give them the experience required for future use.
On that note, here are two loan deals Man United should sort out before the end of the summer transfer window…
Luke Shaw
It has been nearly two years since Luke Shaw’s double leg fracture and ever since he returned from that injury, he has hardly featured in the side.
A fall out with Jose Mourinho when the Portuguese manager first arrived at the club and it is only recently that Shaw’s future at the club has begun to look a little brighter.
Recent reports have stated that Mourinho is willing to extend the 22-year-old’s contract at United and our landlord thinks that as soon as that contract is signed, they should look to loan him out for a season to get him used to first team football again.
James Wilson
If James Wilson’s loan spells have taught us anything, it is that he isn’t ready for life in the Manchester United first team and probably never will be.
The 21-year-old has had loan spells at Brighton and Derby in the past that have amounted to a total of 31 loan appearances, but only five goals.
Granted he suffered an injury half way through his spell with Derby but still, he is unlikely to have any kind of success at United in the future.
A loan spell should be organised for the young striker with the option for the club to buy at the end of the season to try and shift this dead wood from the Red Devils’ ranks.
