Sheffield Wednesday will be looking for another three points this weekend as they take on Blackburn Rovers in the Sky Bet Championship after winning last time out at Elland Road against Leeds United.
The Owls bounced back from recent poor league form in fine style against the Whites as they ran out 2-0 winners with a really impressive performance.
That will count for little if they do not beat Blackburn this weekend to build on that, though, and fans will be hoping that they can use similar performance levels to put Rovers away.
In the meantime, though, they’ve also made a signing with Manuel Hidalgo joining the club – with them confirming as such late last night:

A young winger, it remains to be seen whether or not he breaks into the first-team straight away or whether he’ll be used in the under-23 side first of all.
