Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping their side gets back to winning ways this weekend in the Premier League.
The men from the Emirates did not have the best time of things last time out when they lost to Liverpool 4-0 and since then they have seen the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain leave, for the Reds, in the transfer market.
‘The Ox,’ though, wasn’t the only man to leave Arsenal late on before the window shut as Lucas Perez also left the club after a frustrating stay in north London.
A good player when he did come on the pitch, Perez never really got the opportunity to shine up front for Arsene Wenger’s men and so it makes sense that he moved to Deportivo.
He has, however, taken to Twitter recently to express his happiness at being with the club with his tweet as follows:

A gracious bowing out from the striker, then, and fans will surely hope he does well for his Spanish side this season.
