Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have been celebrating recently, Jurgen Klopp has signed a contract extension keeping him at Anfield until 2022. The German manager will now be looking for new talent that can drive his side into the top four next season, with future aspirations being the Premier League title.
All eyes will be on the Stade de France this Sunday as Portugal and France face off in what is sure to be a emphatic final between the top two sides of the European Championships.
One pair of eyes likely to be watching will be Ex-Dortmund manager Klopp, who has already started his recruitment process.
Bringing in Sadio Mane from Southampton for a reported £34 million, Loris Karius from Klopp’s former club Mainz, and free transfer Joel Matip from Schalke Liverpool look to mean business for the 2016-2017 Premier League campaign.
Here are THREE Euro 2016 finalists Klopp should bring to Liverpool this season…
Moussa Sissoko

After some promising performances for the French national team booking there place in Euro 2016, Liverpool have reportedly pledged an interest in Moussa Sissoko.
Although questions over the Newcastle man have arisen during his time at St James’ Park, these were often down to his commitment and consistency rather than his ability.
At times he has been a powerhouse for the Toon, and on the national stage during this summers tournament, especially in this weeks Semi-Final against Germany, the 26-year-old has quelled doubters with his stunning enthusiasm.
Judging by his recent outings, it seems Sissoko is a gamble worth taking, with the only sticking point for Jurgen Klopp being whether he is willing to meet Newcastle’s £21 million asking price.
Lucas Digne

PSG left back Lucas Digne has been linked with both Barcelona and Liverpool this week.
Although yet to receive much game time at Euro 2016, the French full back, who can also play as a left sided midfielder, has shown plenty of promise during his career so far. Enough so that he earned a 5 year contract with PSG back in 2013, and has also caught the attention of Roma, who he spent last season on loan with.
If Klopp did like the look of the 22-year-old, it is likely he may be able to snatch him away from Barcelona’s grasp, with the Catalan giants only like to offer Digne a squad role.
With questions over Alberto Moreno’s defensive ability, it seems Digne would be a signing Klopp might want to consider.
Jose Fonte

He’s signed the wrong Southampton defender, cried many Liverpool fans when Dejan Lovren arrived at Anfield in 2014.
It seems fans were proved correct with lets say some…questionable, displays from the Croatian. Perhaps though it is not too late, after performing well with the Portuguese national team at Euro 2016, and being part of a Southampton team that conceded just 41 goals last season.
With the loss of Kolo Toure, and Martin Skrtel looking like he is on his way to Fenerbahce, Klopp is going to need some defensive reinforcements.
At 32-years-old however, it is likely Liverpool would not want to pay a huge fee for Fonte, leading to some doubt over whether the transfer would be possible.
Liverpool fans, what do you make of this lsit? Which three would you have picked from the final? Let us know in the comments below…
